About
General Information
The Central Model Infants’ School was established in 1859. The Department of Education is our Patron. We welcome boys and girls aged 4 to 8 years approximately. We share a campus with the Central Model Senior School.
The children are usually enrolled in:
Junior Infants when they are 4/5 years
Senior Infants when they are 5/6 years
First Class when they are 6/7 years
After First Class the children leave this school and may transfer to the Central Model Senior School where they will be enrolled in Second Class.
Our Vision Statement
Our school aims to provide a safe, clam, relaxed environment for each child where they will develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.
We aim to nourish and develop each child’s sense of their own self worth as an individual and celebrate their unique gifts and talents.
By doing this we hope to equip all of our pupils to participate in further education so that they may go on to live a fulfilling life as an adult in society.
