Dear Parents and Guardians,
The First Class Teaching Team have put together some activities on the theme of Summer. There is a range of subjects from which to choose. Whichever you choose to do we encourage you do it at your child's own pace.
We want to hear YOUR memories of the three years you spent in Central Model Infants’ School. In your pack sent home last week are some pages to write your memories on. Remember to send them into us via email if you have not already done so, as we are looking forward to remembering the good times we had together over the years.
We continue to create a plan of activities that do not require any printing. If you are having difficulty accessing any of the resources or would like to send us a message you can contact us at firstclass@centralmodelinfantschool.ie.
We hope you are keeping well and safe.
Kind regards
The First Class Teaching Team
Ms Beakey, Ms Bennett, Ms Coghlan, Ms Dunphy, Ms Gibbons, Ms King

Summer is here! Read this poem about waves by Eleanor Fargeon
There Are Big Waves
There are big waves and little waves,
Green waves and blue,
Waves you can jump over,
Waves you dive thro’,
Waves that rise up
Like a great water wall,
Waves that swell softly
And don’t break at all,
Waves that can whisper,
Waves that can roar,
And tiny waves that run at you
Running on the shore.
by Eleanor Fargeon
Do you like the poem? How does it make you feel? Draw a picture of the waves you can see in the poem. Write one sentence about your picture.

Well done everyone, you had a great week. I have this great cup song to try. Now it’s a bit difficult but give it a go if you like
Music is everywhere, we don’t need fancy instruments. We can use something as simple as a cup and your hands!
Watch this video and give it a go!
