Hello to the amazing boys and girls in Room 6, Room 7 and Room 8,
We hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well. We hope you are all happy and healthy and doing the important job of staying at home and washing your hands.
The teachers miss you all very much but your pictures, work and photographs are really cheering us up. Please keep sending us your news, work and pictures of your learning to juniorinfants@centralmodelinfantschool.ie . We love reading your emails and seeing what you are doing at home. We will continue to add some of them to our website.
This week is a special week because it is Active Schools Week. It is especially important to keep active at the moment. Ms. O' Connor has put a 'CMIS Active at Home Challenge' on our website. This will help us get our 60 minutes of daily physical activity. We would love you to choose 4 activities each day from the challenge. There are lots of other ideas for keeping active there too. Let us know how you are staying active at home.

We are continuing with our theme of "Under the Sea" this week. We have attached some more activities for you to try. Your parents can choose which activities will work best in your home.
Do you know there is a school on the television? Tune into RTE Two at 11am every week day. It is also available on the RTE Player if you want to watch it at other times of the day.
Keep safe and active this week!
Take care,
The Junior Infants' Team
Ms. Brophy, Ms. Byrne, Ms. Lyons, Ms. O’Connell, Ms. McNamara & Ms. Wimsey
**Please ensure children are supervised during their use of Digital Technology and when accessing the internet. Try, where possible, to limit your child’s screen-time and avail of the suggested activities and resources.
