Room 7: Broc the Badger

Room 7: Broc the Badger

Good afternoon to all the girls and boys!

Broc the Badger here! I'm so happy that you have come back to visit me and to see what I have been doing today. I had a great sleep last night and woke up to do some 10@10 as Gaeilge. It was so much fun and a great way to do some exercises at home, Ms Byrne even joined in!

I heard that we were going to be learning about plants and flowers today and how they grow. My favourite flower is a daffodil. Do you have daffodils in your school? What is your favourite flower? I looked at Ms Byrne's computer and learned about the different parts of flowers! I found it so interesting that the roots suck up the water like a straw so the flower can stay alive! What was your favourite part of the flower? When I finished looking at the different parts of flowers on the computer, I decided to walk around to see if I could find any flowers inside. Guess what? Ms Byrne has daffodils! Can you find the petals on the daffodils?

The last thing I did today was some maths! I really love maths! It was a very fun game and I got to pick objects that were heavy and light! I'm very tired after my very busy day. I will be back tomorrow and hope you come back to see me too!
