Hello again to all our Senior Infant families,
It's the middle of June and summer is nearly here!!! 
Thankfully, more government restrictions eased this week allowing us to travel that little bit further. Hopefully our good weather will come back and allow us the opportunity to get on the DART or bus and travel to the beach
This week you will be reading and writing "oo" + "ee" words and drawing pictures to go with them. We encourage you to get outside and look in your local area for "Minibeasts." As we will all be spending more time outside in the coming weeks and hopefully travelling to the beach we have included some work highlighting "Water Safety!" This is a very important topic for the summer so pay close attention to it in order to have fun at the beach yet stay safe.
Last week saw the Local Libraries reopening. We would really encourage you to take your child along to borrow some new books. The kids love the mini libraries in their classrooms and we know they would really enjoy getting to visit a real library. 
If you're thinking of taking a trip to the beach and going to Dún Laoghaire, there is a state of the art Library there right next to the Dart Station.
