Hello to all our Senior Infant families,
We hope you have all been enjoying the wonderful, sunny weather that we have been experiencing recently. This week you will have received a text from the school to invite you to collect a pack for your child consisting of their school books/copies and some worksheet booklets. Some of these worksheets are referenced in this week’s plan and your child’s class teacher will be in touch to explain further about them – they are intended to simply supplement and support your child’s learning at home and as always, there is no onus on the children to complete these.
In this week’s learning plan our theme is once again
“Under the Sea”
There will be lots more learning around all things water and ocean related. As always, the activities we set are a guideline for you to help your child while they learn at home. No printer is needed for these activities-use the copies, markers and colouring pencils that you received in the post – as well as the copy books and worksheet packs you collected from school this week! To support your home learning we have again attached some relevant documents & links to websites so we hope some of you have access to a device to enjoy these (with adult supervision).
This week we have again included the link for Folens.ie.to supplement your child’s learning in Gaeilge/irish. If you did not already do so, you can register for free, just click on the link below. Enter your details and enter Prim20 into the Roll number box. Below is a link to more detailed instructions on how to use the site.
Continue to tune into RTE 2 @11am every week day for school on TV. It is also available on the RTE player online if you wish to watch at a different time.
Thanks to those of you who emailed us pictures of your work from last week. Keep an eye on the website to see it posted there! Keep sending pictures of the activities you are completing at home, we love to hear from you and to see all of your wonderful learning.
