First class attend The International Literature Festival

First Class took a trip to Merrion Square Park on Monday to attend The International Literature Festival. They had an amazing day! They got to meet Jonny Duddle, author and illustrator of books such as Gigantosaurus, The Pirates Next Door and How to Draw Dinosaurs. Jonny read us his book Gigantosaurus and then showed them how to draw one of the characters from the story.

The children were extra lucky because the weather was so hot they got to stay in the park, go to the playground and enjoy a tasty ice-cream. Have a look at their fantastic day out.
