The Children's Committee at Central Model Infants' School

The First Class children had an election in their classrooms last November and voted in 6 of their peers to represent them on the Children’s Committee.

The Children's Committee in our school acts as a voice for pupils, sharing their ideas and concerns with school leaders to help improve children’s wellbeing and the overall school experience.

Through their efforts, they aim to make our school a better, happier place for everyone, while developing leadership and teamwork skills.

The Children’s Committee plays an important role in promoting a positive and inclusive school environment. They work together to plan events, activities, and initiatives that encourage student involvement and foster a sense of community.

We are very grateful for their enthusiasm and participation on the committee.

The members of the Children’s Committee are:

  1. Aaron

  2. Amira

  3. Misha

  4. Noah

  5. Negun-Od

  6. Scarlett

The Children's Committee recently conducted a 'Wellbeing Audit' around the school, identifying the positive aspects that make our school a great place to be, as well as areas where improvements could be made to enhance children's wellbeing and the overall atmosphere.

Following this, the pupils carried out a survey across all classes to gather more information. They will use the results to create an 'Improvement Plan' for the school, which they will present to the Board of Management next month.

We are incredibly proud of our school leaders, who are passionate about driving change and making a positive impact at Central Model Infants' School!
