Examining the work of Jaoquin Sorolla

Art 13.jpg

First Class have been studying the work of impressionist Joaquin Sorolla. We had a wonderful visit to the National Art Gallery where we observed his work.

We were taken on a sensory tour of the Artists' work. Our guides helped us to experience the sights, sounds and smells of Sorolla's work.

Thank you to our two wonderful guides!

Sorolla liked to paint landscapes so we decided to have a go at being artists! We are so lucky to have a beautiful garden in our school with lots of wonderful features.

If you have ever visited our garden you will see how well Kylen (Age 7) has captured the bug hotel among other features of the garden.

Take a look below to see the art work of all of the children in Room 5.
