Central Model Infant School are delighted to have an active and involved Green School Committee. The Green Schools Committee are helping us to be a greener school and teaching us all invaluable lessons on how to be more sustainable! Everybody has an important role to play and to help us on our way! Every class now has an Eco Warrior! Eco Warriors have an important task of reminding us all to be more energy efficient ! The Eco Warrior reminds us to turn off the lights when we don't need them, make sure the whiteboard is off at the end of the day and during breaks, and they make sure to double check that fridge door is firmly shut! Not only are they keeping our school energy efficient but they are also making sure that any waste is being disposed of properly, every bin is thoroughly checked and milk cartons and yogurt cartons are washed out before they get any where near the recycling bin! Eco Warriors get a well deserved certificate at the end of their fortnight and also receive a big bualadh bos at assembly. Have a look at our Green School committee hard at work! Their next big project is getting the garden ready for Spring. Well Done Green Schools Committee!!
