Room 4 have had a busy few months settling in to first class. We have been busy learning all about ourselves and our bodies. We have been working on our athletics and G.A.A. skills as well as starting a new basketball club. We went on a trip to Newbridge Farm where we explored the farm and the grounds identifying different animals and looking for signs of Autumn. We also enjoyed exploring our local area by walking across The Rosie Hackett Bridge and The River Liffey on our trip to Merrion Square. Here we had a great time in the playground and exploring the park - finding pinecones, acorns, leaves & conkers as well as observing all the statues in the park. In preparation for Halloween we read the story 'Funny Bones' and we took our Beebots for a visit to the Funny Bones village.
