The Active Schools Committee met this week to chat about getting active in term 3.
First we chatted about what we will be learning with our teachers this month in P.E.
This month we are focussing on Games and the fundamental movement skill of kicking.
We are asking each class to learn one or two playground games with their teacher.
This will help us play more games in the yard.
Mr. Mulligan showed us how to play the game 'Sea, Ship, Shore'.
Next we chatted about DanceTakeover Day which will be taking place on May 3rd.
We decided to start our day with a whole school 'Wake Up Shake
Up'. We have asked each class to select three songs for our yard time playlist to help us get moving and grooving!
