GAA Training in Room 1

Room 1 recently finished their training block with our wonderful school GAA coach, Thomas. This month we were learning the skills of the game of hurling; the names of the different parts of the hurl and of the sliotar. We got to design and decorate our own hurls in class and had a fantastic time painting and decorating them.

When we took our hurls back outside we were ready to do lots of skills, drills and games and we all had so much fun over the last 4 weeks.
