Hello to all the lovely boys and girls!

Sorry I haven’t been on! I’ve been helping Ms Byrne make some phone calls to you! We have been so busy hearing all of your news and I can’t wait to hear from you again today and tomorrow!

I hope you have been enjoying this weeks activities, especially our active activities for Active Schools Week! I’m really enjoying our Under the Sea work and couldn’t believe we were making a boat today!

We woke up this morning and the first thing we did was go for a walk so we could be active and wake ourselves up with some fresh air! Ms Byrne told me that we our trying to keep ourselves and our community safe so we washed our hands before we left and made sure to keep within a close distance from our house! She said the distance was measured in kilometres, so we made sure to stay within 2 kilometres of our house! When we came back, we washed our hands again and had some yummy porridge! This time I put some strawberries in my porridge. It was yummy!

With my full belly and fresh air in my lungs, I was ready to work! The first thing we did today was pour some oats into a bowl! I asked Ms Byrne what we were going to do with the oats and she said that we would be practising our handwriting! She told me that you are all very good at handwriting and that you use sand in school! Can you see me writing my name in the oats? I really enjoyed it!

The next activity we were doing today was making a boat! We have lots of cardboard here so I decided that’s what I wanted to use to make my boat! Ms Byrne helped me use the scissors and I stuck it together with some glue! How did you make your boat?

I have to go now and help Ms Byrne but I can’t wait to see you tomorrow!
