Hello to all our Senior Infant Families,
We hope that you have had a good week and have been enjoying some of the beautiful sunshine! It is important to try to get outside for some fresh air and get active while keeping a safe distance from others. We will learn about staying safe while outdoors this week in our S.P.H.E. lesson and we have also attached a document about how to stay safe when outside with your family.
Last week we went on a trip to The Zoo and had lots of fun learning about the different zoo animals. We are so impressed with all of the work you have been doing and love seeing pictures and getting emails from you and your families. Well done and keep up the good work!
This week we are staying in The Zoo and we are going to learn some more about the giraffe. As always this work is voluntary and only a guideline for you to help you and your child learn while they remain at home. Please find attached this week's activities which includes links for you to click on and some additional resources. You can also continue to watch RTE's 'Home School Hub' on RTE2 @ 11am every day for school on the TV. This week they took a trip to Dublin Zoo! https://www.rte.ie/learn/2020/0426/1134893-were-going-to-the-zoo-zoo-zoo/
We know these are very uncertain times for us all. We hope you are continuing to stay safe and healthy and looking after each other. We miss you and your families very much and we know you are all missing your friends. We look forward to seeing you all again when schools reopen in September.
Keep Safe and Take Care,
