Dear Parents/Guardians
Your child will be moving class for the school year 2023/24 and they have met their new teacher. You will have received your child’s report by now on Aladdin Connect App, where you can see all the fantastic work and progress they have made during this school year.
For the school year 2023/24 the Government has introduced a scheme providing free school books for all children enrolled in primary schools, therefore you do not need to pay book money for next year.
The school uniform from the start of September is our school tracksuit/shorts and runners. Please see below. You should buy 2 of these in Guineys of Talbot Street. Children should no longer wear the uniform of trousers/skirts/shoes, as we are an Active School.
We suggest you buy:-
- 2 Tracksuits
- 2 Blue Polo shirts
- 1 Pair of shorts
We had a fantastic Active Week. The children took part in Soccer, Skipping, Pound Fit, GAA Skills and Rugby. We ended the busy week with a really great day in Mountjoy Square. Thank you so much for joining in the fun. Check out the video of Mountjoy Square on our website! We hope the children keep up their physical fitness during the summer break.
We say slán (goodbye) to our First Classes as they transfer to the Senior School. They celebrated their graduation in school on 20th June. Thank you for all your support parents over the tree years with us.
The school closes on Friday 30th June at 12.00pm and re-opens on Tuesday, 29th August at 9.30am.

A big thank you to our parents who joined us last Friday for our summer celebration and raising of our European and Pride flags. We really enjoyed the children’s beautiful singing.
