Active Schools Committee
Our Active Schools Committee is made up of pupils from junior infants, senior infants and first class as well being lead by a number of teachers. We aim to meet each month so keep up to date with what is going on with P.E. in our school and to set active goals for each term. Our Active Schools Committee also keeps their class and teachers up to date with any active news and regularly check in with classes to make sure they are reaching their goals! Our Active motto is ‘Run, skip, hop and play, we are active every day’.

Local Amenities
Pupils in Central Model Infants’ School attend swimming lessons throughout the year in the nearby Sean McDermott Swimming Pool. We also enjoy going to Mountjoy Square Park for our annual ‘Race Day’ during Active Schools Week where our families join us for our sprint and novelty races.
