Storytime in Room 2.
What a treat we had on Friday afternoon. Tobi, Sazidur, Sondor, Kevin and Julia came to read to us the stories they had written in class.
We were entertained by great Fairy tale stories, with interesting characters, imaginative settings and exciting story plots. We loved their illustrations so much!
We definitely have some budding Authors and Illustrators in Room 4.
A big thank you from everyone in Room 2 for regaling us with your stories!
There is lots of excitement in the air this week as we get closer to Christmas. We had so much fun putting on our Christmas play “Santa’s Hat” for everyone last Friday. We do hope you enjoyed our performance.
After writing our letters to Santa we made out trip to the post office to get our letters in the post in time to be delivered to Santa. We made a quick stop by Arnott’s window to have a look at the display. We all agreed the lego city was amazing, especially the lego Dublin buses! We enjoyed listening to some Christmas songs outside the GPO before making our way up to the Bank of Ireland. We enjoyed finding our own pictures and looking at all the other amazing pieces of art that is hanging up there.
When we came back to school we drew maps of our journey and wrote some sentences about our trip.
From all the boys and girls in Room 4, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
