Santa visits Central Model Infants’ School

The boys and girls in Central Model Infants’ School had a very special visitor today. Santa took time out of his very busy schedule to visit each class and deliver some lovely presents. Everyone was so excited to meet Santa and his very special helper Gizmo. Santa enjoyed all the songs and poems he heard throughout the school and is looking forward to delivering even more presents on Christmas Eve.

Happy Christmas!

There is lots of excitement in the air this week as we get closer to Christmas. We had so much fun putting on our Christmas play “Santa’s Hat” for everyone last Friday. We do hope you enjoyed our performance.

After writing our letters to Santa we made out trip to the post office to get our letters in the post in time to be delivered to Santa. We made a quick stop by Arnott’s window to have a look at the display. We all agreed the lego city was amazing, especially the lego Dublin buses! We enjoyed listening to some Christmas songs outside the GPO before making our way up to the Bank of Ireland. We enjoyed finding our own pictures and looking at all the other amazing pieces of art that is hanging up there.

When we came back to school we drew maps of our journey and wrote some sentences about our trip.

From all the boys and girls in Room 4, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
