Room 3’s Trip to Malahide Castle.

Room 3 had the most wonderful time in the glorious autumn sunshine exploring Malahide Castle and grounds.

It is certainly the best time of year to visit Malahide Castle – we had so much fun exploring the vast grassy areas, hugging trees, searching for leaves, acorns and nuts and seeing if we could spot any animals getting ready for hibernation.

After finishing our Nature Walk we had a look around the Castle itself, some of us were sure we could see Rapunzel peeping out of an upstairs turret window!

We then moved to the huge playground and enjoyed some amazing play time there on the slides, climbing frames, zip lines and swings. After so much running around and activity, we were all thrilled when it was time to enjoy a nice relaxing picnic in the park and afterwards some of us had enough energy left to play a game of football on one of Malahide’s many huge pitches.

What a wonderful autumnal day we had in Malahide Castle – I’m already excited to go back next year!!!

Leaf Printing in Room 2

Following our lovely trip to Malahide Park and Castle, Room 2 used some of the beautiful autumn leaves they collected to do some printing.
